Listen to your parents

So just a casual everyday walk down the road. Nothing unusual just A WIERD YELLOW SYMBOL on the road? What is that I mumbled quietly to myself. At first I thought is was just a marker or something but as the days flew past it looked as if it had moved or something. At the time I was only eight so I wasn’t that trustworthy of taking care of myself on the road. I decided this was too mysterious just to ignore so being me I decided to… Hey! Shouted someone a few feet away from me, ( don’t touch that. )  (sorry) I said. pt soon

  1. Hello Joenesh,

A weird yellow symbol on the road, sharing you were only eight and not so trustworthy for taking care of yourself set the scene in your story. From this point your story could have gone in many directions. Well done.
What was the symbol? Who called out the warning? We would have to wait for part 2 to find out.

  2. Dear Joenesh,
Hmm, I believe I too would be very curious if the “weird yellow symbol” was not always in the same place each day. That would make me curious. Your title provides a good lesson to remember for sure. I am wondering what you will do with this story in an extention.

  3. Hi Joenesh,
Great work this week! I like the relaxed tone of voice of the narrator in your piece. This made it entertaining, and also gave the story an easy and smooth pace. I’m very curious to see how the story continues and what exactly the mysterious yellow sign is.
